This page is being finalized with our attorney. What follows describes how AmenPreacher works today, in plain words. The final policy will replace it.
Copyright
Last changed October 22, 2026
In short
- Churches upload only what they have the right to publish.
- If a recording uses your work without permission, write to us and we will look at it.
- Music in a recording needs the church's own license.
What churches may upload
Each church uploads its own preaching and teaching, and only what it has the right to publish. A church that records a guest preacher asks for the preacher's permission first.
Music
If a recording includes songs, the church's own streaming license has to cover them, and songs sung over recorded tracks need a license that covers tracks too; AmenPreacher does not license music for anyone.
Reporting a problem
If you believe a recording on AmenPreacher uses your work without permission, write to hello@amenpreacher.com. Please include:
- the work you believe is being used, and that you own it or act for the owner;
- the link to the sermon page, and where in the recording, if you know;
- your name, mailing address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that what you have told us is accurate;
- your signature, typed or written.
We may take the recording off the public archive while we look into it, and we tell the church. If the church believes we are mistaken, it can write back to us, and we will consider putting the recording back.
Designated agent
Our designated agent for copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act is being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and will be listed here. Until then, send notices to hello@amenpreacher.com.
Repeat problems
We end access for a church that keeps uploading other people's work.
