How it works

From the pulpit to your website, with you in charge of every step.

You need recordings and someone willing to press Publish. We do the rest: writing out every word, finding the scripture, suggesting a title, and putting it all on your site.

  1. Get an invite

Write to hello@amenpreacher.com with your church's name and city. We send an invite code. Enter it, choose your church's web address, add your logo and colors, and invite whoever helps with recordings.

  2. Send your recordings

Upload Sunday's message from a phone or a laptop. MP3, WAV and most other audio files work. If you have years of old recordings on a drive or an old website, tell us and we will bring them in for you.

  3. Look it over

Soon after it uploads, the sermon is written out word for word. We suggest the main passage, a title and a short outline. Keep what is right, change what is not. When we are not sure, we suggest nothing at all.

  4. Publish

One button puts it on your sermon archive, inside your church website, and in your podcast feed. Nothing is public until someone at your church chooses to publish it.

What your church needs

  • Recordings of the preaching
  • One person who can press Publish
  • A website, if you want it there too

What happens to your files

Your original recordings are kept privately, exactly as you sent them. Listeners hear a copy made for the web. You can download all of it, originals included, whenever you want.

Questions pastors ask

Plain answers.

What does it cost?

Nothing. AmenPreacher is free for every church, with no ads and no paid tier. The ministry behind it will be supported by gifts, not by charging churches.

Who owns the sermons?

Your church does. We keep them only to show them where you tell us to, and we remove anything you delete.

What if we want to leave?

Download everything: the original recordings, the written-out sermons and every detail you entered. There is no charge and no waiting period. You can also close your archive, and we delete all of it.

Does a computer write our descriptions?

It suggests. From the recording it proposes the main passage, a title and a short outline, never in the preacher's own voice. Nothing is published until someone at your church accepts it.

Can we use our own web address?

Yes, an address like sermons.yourchurch.org. We show you the records to add where your domain is managed, and tell you when it is ready.

What about special music?

AmenPreacher is built for preaching. If a recording includes songs, your church's own streaming license has to cover them, and songs sung over recorded tracks need a license that covers tracks too.

Do listeners need an account?

No. Anyone can listen and search. Play counts are anonymous, and we do not keep listeners' internet addresses.
